Art Advisory

Over the past thirty years, Los Angeles has emerged both as a center of art production and a high-profile destination for artists, collectors, museums, and galleries. With a reach international in scope, it is an extremely exciting cultural space for the visual arts.

As advisors in the field of contemporary art, our mission is to keep collectors informed, presenting material tailored to fit individual tastes and budgets. We work with clients on specific strategies by identifying and presenting artists and artworks to new and seasoned collectors.

Advising with an eye toward artist diversity and representation, recent acquisitions on behalf of our clients include works by Alteronce Gumby, Umar Rashid (Frohawk Two Feathers), Kenyatta AC Hinckle, Xylor Jane, Patrick Martinez, Hilary Pecis, and Ulala Imai.

One-on-one engagement with art is a critical aspect of the collecting process. Visiting artists’ studios, gallery and museum exhibitions, private collections, and art fairs constantly informs our work and provides clients an educational and enjoyable experience.

Cecilia Dan is a member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors (APAA), a non-profit membership organization of the world’s leading art advisors and curators.
