Cecilia Dan Fine Art specializes in comprehensive Modern and Contemporary Fine Art advising, collection management, and appraisal services for a diverse range of clients. With over thirty years of art world experience, Cecilia has built a distinguished reputation as an advisor, collection manager, and appraiser, providing access to material and information through her network of artists, galleries, dealers, collectors, and institutional contacts.
Cecilia Dan is a member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors (APAA), a non-profit membership organization of the world’s leading art advisors and curators, and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers.
Cecilia earned a BA in Art History (cum laude) from UCLA, and MBA in Arts Management from the Drucker School at Claremont Graduate University, and a certificate in Appraisal Studies at UCI. She worked with Bonhams Los Angeles for over five years in the early-2000s, both as a specialist and a consultant. Cecilia is actively involved in local arts and professional groups, including Hammer Circle at the Hammer Museum, Patron at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Director’s Forum at Museum of Contemporary Art.
Megan Dudley worked in the primary market, specializing in emerging and mid-career contemporary art, for almost ten years before joining Cecilia Dan Fine Art in 2013. She has extensive experience in art collection management, appraisal practice, writing, research, and digital and analog archiving. Megan is a Candidate of the American Society of Appraisers and a member of ArtTable. She earned a BFA in Fine Art Photography from California State University, Fullerton.
